Return to the Home Page

The West Virginia Woodturners Association provides its members with many opportunities to develop and expand their turning skills and creative interests.

Classes

Classes are scheduled on the second Saturday of each month at the Turning Center at Lee Street. Each course is open to the public and the cost is $25 for members and $50 for non-members. Check the Class Page to see the schedule of classes that will be offered during the next few months and register for a class.

Mentoring

Club members with a variety of interests and skills serve as mentors to individuals who seek to develop their own skills and techniques. Check the Mentor Page to see the areas where mentors are available.

Demonstrations

Every monthly meeting includes a demonstration presented by either a Club member or a professional turner. Check the Schedule Page for information about future demonstrations and the Demonstration Page for past demonstrations.

Club Challenges

Several times a year, members are presented with a Club Challenge to encourage the development of a skill or the design of an object that includes a specific element. Check the Challenge Page to learn more about the Club Challenges.
